Bumper month

July 1st, 2008 in Weddings by Jon

June turned out to be our best month ever for wedding bookings. Thanks to all the guys and girls who love what we do, appreciate the way we do it, and so have chosen Janda to capture their 2008/09/10 weddings!!!

Bodhi [our tibetan terrier] was happy about it too…

Tom and Jo

June 23rd, 2008 in Weddings by Jon

After a great prewed portrait session, we returned to Goodwood House for Tom and Jo’s wedding. The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Slindon, then the couple traveled to the house in a friends 1920’s Bentley.

These guys have really style, and threw a great party. So, gorgeous couple, fantastic venue and lovely guests. Angela and I had a ball!!!

Right from the beginning of the process you have both been wonderful - we have really enjoyed getting to know you both, and the fact that you had spent a lot of time with us before the day meant that we simply had two extra friends celebrating our wedding with us (but friends who got the most beautiful wedding photos ever!!). The huge homework that you did before the day - trips to the church and numerous ones to the reception - meant that you knew exactly where the best photographs could be taken, and so no time was wasted on the day. Everyone commented on how smooth the process was and you listened to everything we had asked for and really understood how we wanted our photographs to look. You got to know us and gave us the style of day that we wanted. You went over and above what we expected and we really cannot thank you both enough and we will treasure these forever. Wedding photographs are so important and we couldn’t recommend you more highly - you couldn’t have been any better. It was perfect - THANK YOU.

Vintage Goodwood

June 21st, 2008 in Weddings by Jon

Promise to post some images from Tom and Jo’s wonderful wedding at Goodwood House soon, but couldn’t resist showing this one of Mark, their friend and usher, in his 1920’s Bentley. The perfect wedding car for the setting.

Champagne anyone?

Chris and Julie

June 9th, 2008 in Weddings by Jon

Chris and Julie got married in St. Andrew’s Chruch in Cobham, and their reception was held at the excellent La Capanna restaurant.

For us, wedding photography is all about the people. But Julie had chosen so many amazing details that we just had to capture them too!

Many thanks for all the hard work on the day, you both made it so easy
and really appreciate some of the most magical moments that you’ve
captured.

Back in 20

May 27th, 2008 in Weddings by Jon

A wedding day is not a photo shoot, and we’re all about capturing the natural flow and story of the day. But at some point we take 20 minutes out, just the four of us, to get some great portraits. It’s the perfect opportunity for the couple to relax and catch their breath.

The aim: to capture extraordinary directed images that reflect the personalities of the couple combined with our creative talent.

Check these out from Steve and Linzi’s wedding, all taken in the garden and car park of the Bromley Court Hotel.
